Wholesale Native Trees & Shrubs in Maryland

Clear Ridge Nursery grows native trees and shrubs right here in Maryland. Our 87-acre nursery sits in Union Bridge, in Carroll County. We have supplied Maryland projects since 1994.

Our plants are grown in Maryland soil and weather. That means stock that is already adapted to your site. We carry over 150,000 plants across 70+ species.

Native Plants for Maryland Projects

Maryland projects often come with strict planting rules and tight schedules. We grow for the work Maryland buyers do most.

• Forest Conservation Act plantings. Afforestation and reforestation stock for forest conservation plans, plus conservation area signs.
• Chesapeake Bay restoration. Stream buffer and wetland-edge natives for Bay watershed projects.
• State tree programs. We supply trees for the Tree-Mendous Maryland program. Maryland has also set a goal of 5 million new trees by 2031.
• Campus and municipal landscapes. Larger caliper shade trees in 7G to 25G.

Maryland Projects We Have Supplied

Maryland customers include the City of Annapolis, Johns Hopkins University, UMBC, and the Maryland School for the Blind. Each needed quality stock delivered on schedule. We are proud to keep serving our home state.
