About Us

Clear Ridge Nursery, Inc. is a family-owned and operated wholesale nursery that specializes in growing native landscape quality trees and shrubs. We are centrally located in Carroll County, Maryland with delivery options available throughout the Mid-Atlantic area.  We are a full service wholesale plant and product supplier with an experienced staff.

Clear Ridge Nursery was formally established in 1994, starting with a small inventory of 18 species and 20,000 plants in 1-2 gallon containers. Clear Ridge Nursery quickly flourished as a native nursery as tractors and equipment, a small work force, and thousands upon thousands of plants were added to the farm.

Trees are an essential part of any ecosystem, providing shade and shelter for wildlife, regulating the flow of water, and helping to prevent soil erosion. In recent years, the importance of trees has come into sharp focus as we have witnessed the devastating effects of deforestation. That is why we are proud to have supplied wholesale trees for 12 reforestation projects all over the state of New York. By replanting native tree species, these projects are not only helping to restore damaged ecosystems but are also providing vital habitat for declining wildlife populations. In a world where the value of trees is often taken for granted, we are honored to be playing a small part in ensuring that our forests can continue to thrive for generations to come.

In an effort to help New York City’s Parks and Recreation department with tree planting, we have provided wholesale trees in 16 locations across the city. This has been a collaborative effort between our organization and the city, and we are proud to have played a role in helping to improve the city’s tree canopy.

About New York
