About Us

We are a family-owned and operated wholesale nursery that specializes in growing native landscape quality trees and shrubs. We are centrally located in Carroll County, Maryland, so we can deliver plants anywhere in the Mid-Atlantic area. We also offer a full range of services to our customers.

Clear Ridge Nursery was founded in 1994. The nursery started with 18 species of plants and 20,000 plants in 1-2 gallon pots. The nursery grew larger as tractors and equipment were purchased, a small workforce was employed, and more plants were added to the farm.

We are a nursery that specializes in supplying plants for reforestation, mitigation, and conservation projects. We have a long history of successfully growing plants for other businesses. We offer over 70 kinds of plants and trees and 350,000 plants in different sizes.

Since Fall 2014, Clear Ridge Nursery has been providing plants to other growers. We are not just a grower anymore, but a supplier of plants and plant products.

About Connecticut

Connecticut is the southernmost state in the New England region of the United States. As of the 2010 census, it has the highest per-capita income, the second-highest level of human development behind Massachusetts, and the highest median household income in the United States. It is bordered by Rhode Island to the east, Massachusetts to the north, New York to the west, and Long Island Sound to the south. Its capital is Hartford and its most populous city is Bridgeport.
