Terms and Conditions

Clear Ridge Nursery Inc. is a wholesale nursery specializing in native trees and shrubs.
We have no minimum order size and will sell to private individuals, businesses and organizations.

Different price levels apply for private individuals, businesses and organizations.

Businesses and organizations include registrered businesses, landscape contractors and architects, nurseries, government agencies, conservation and other non-profit organizations.

A private individual is a person who is purchasing plants for their personal use and are not representing a
business or other organization.

As a wholesale nursery we cannot accommodate for the personal selection of plant material and browsing of nursery production areas by private individuals. Selection of plant material and assembly for pick up or delivery will be
by Clear Ridge Nursery, Inc. employees.

While we constantly strive to provide the best quality and handling of nursery stock, we do not give a warranty as to the future life of the plants. Customer satisfaction at time plants are received is our guarantee.

All orders (including orders by private individuals) must be placed in advance.  Customers need to call at least 48 hours in advance to schedule the pick up of orders. We cannot guarantee orders will be ready for pick up with less than 24 hours notice.

We do not box & ship small orders by UPS or Fedex. Delivery is NOT available for orders less than $250! 
These orders will need to be picked up.

All prices are F.O.B. at Clear Ridge Nursery Inc. and subject to change without notice.

A deposit of 30% of the order is required when the order is placed unless otherwise agreed to. The deposit holds the plant material at a fixed price. The balance is due upon receipt of the plant material.

We reserve the right to cancel or revise any order when the scheduled shipping date is extended by four months or longer.

Cancellations of orders must be received in writing at least 30 days prior to scheduled shipping dates. All cancellations with less than 30 days notice are subject to a charge of 10% of the original order amount.

Maryland Sales Tax will be charged on all orders unless a current copy of your tax-exempt certificate is supplied to our office prior to invoicing.

All plant material is inspected by the Maryland Department of Agriculture and certified as free of insects and plant diseases.

Liability of Clear Ridge Nursery Inc. in each and every instance is and shall be specifically limited to the purchase price of such nursery stock. We assume no liability for delay or failure in filling orders due to strikes, accidents, crop failures, or other causes beyond our control. While every effort is made to provide true and accurate information we do not assume any liability due to losses associated with the information provided in our catalog or by our website.

No deviations from these conditions of sale and prices are allowed except by written agreement.
